This year's theme for Pride is "freedom". Freedom that LGBTI+ people can, must and must be able to be exactly who they are, completely open. This applies in Denmark and in the rest of the world. Pride and the demonstrations started in the USA in 1965 and to this day are still about the freedom, pride, dignity and equality of sexual minorities. Although we have come a long way, the fight is still super important almost 60 years later and it takes place today on many levels from the political level to the small but important steps for more recognition and equal rights, such as LGBTI+ people's very own category of sex toys here at Cosylove .dk.
Granted, it's probably not the biggest step for humanity, but we actually think it's important that LGBTI+ people get their very own playground in our corner of the sex-toy internet. A place created to bring diverse enjoyment and play. Here are 6 good reasons, of course we think we need an LGBTI+ category.
1. Sex toys for LGBTI+ are about RESPECT
When Cosylove.dk started, we noticed that there were no other Danish online retailers of sex toys that had a category dedicated to LGBTI+ people. It's not because LGBT+ people can't find naughty and fun toys in heterosexual categories, but we make a virtue of selecting sex toys that embrace far more than stereotypical heterosexual sex and sexuality.
- And most importantly, the category is an expression of respect for our LGBTI+ friends, pairs of friends and friends we haven't met yet. We wholeheartedly support the rights of LGBTI+ people.

2. G-spot and p-spot and we'll have to look at that point!
We must be treated equally fairly and well, but fortunately we are also oh so different and hooray for that! Of course, this also applies to sexual anatomy and pleasure. And now that we're at "oh", we think we have the remedies to get any person within the diverse LGBTI+ community to say just that.
For example, do you want to play with the yuppie erogenous zones the p-spot or the g-spot and have some really wild orgasms? It could be, for example, the best prostate vibrator, or a specially designed dildo for men. Or how about a beautiful double dildo for girl/girl, or a rotating tongue simulator?
3. Much more diversity
The breadth of sex and sexuality is enormous, it just hasn't been very well represented – not even on webshops with sex toys. It has often been the case that we talk about sex toys from a heteronormative perspective, and that sex toys for heterosexual and LGBTI+ people are kept separate in completely different shops. But no. Nothing, we're done with it. There must be something for every taste and for every sexual person. Harness, fetish clothing, thrusting dildos and normalizing butt pleasure! There is nothing that belongs to shadows and taboo, and we want to give it all space at Cosylove.
4. Also queer first, please!
Fortunately, the sex toy industry has also opened its eyes to the need for more diversity, and today they have started to design and make sex toys that can not only be used by LGBTI+ people, but are what the industry calls "queer first" ”. In other words, made for homosexuals first and foremost. Of course, we only dream of even more breadth to embrace the entire LGBTI+ palette.
We are proud to carry both Lelo and Fun Factory, which are not only luxurious, but also strong when it comes to sex toys designed for LGBTI+ people. Both brands also celebrate and pay tribute to Pride.
5. Pride must be celebrated throughout the year
Pride is an annual celebration week of a parade and demonstration for LGBTI+ freedom and equality. But let's finally celebrate and pay tribute to Pride every day and throughout the year and remind ourselves and the world around us that there is still plenty to fight for. Fortunately, in our latitudes there is also a lot to celebrate, and Pride today is also a bit of a folk festival.
But how about celebrating Pride when you feel like it, and in the most fun way with Fun Factory's Rainbow dildo? The rainbow colored dildo is custom made for LGBT+ people, but can in fact be enjoyed by everyone. It can be used as it is, with a suction cup, in a harness and as a strap on. You can play alone or with others. An inclusive dildo, if you will!
6. Sexual freedom for all
The theme of Pride 2022 is freedom for LGBTI+ people. Freedom to live openly and freely with the sexuality you have and as the person you are. It is a freedom, equality and openness that should permeate the whole of society, if you ask us. So let's just talk openly about sex, love and sexuality. Let's be curious about each other's similarities and differences. Let's put enjoyment on the agenda!
What does LGBTI+ stand for?
LGBTI+ is the international collective term for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders and people born with variations and gender characteristics. It specifically stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, while the plus shows that the many other minority groups within sexualities are also included.
Always safe sex
Cosylove always encourages safe sex and sex that you are otherwise comfortable with and to which all parties agree. We carry a wide selection of condoms, and also have everything if you need lubricants and accessories.
Also remember to clean your sex toy after use. You can, for example, do it in a super easy way with antibacterial spray made specifically for cleaning sex toys, e.g. Fun Factory's Sex Toy Cleaner. It is both effective and gentle on the body.
